The Santee Lakes are located at 9040 Carlton Oaks Drive in
Santee, San Diego County, California

 

Vi camperede ved Santee Lakes i dag, en række af syv menneskeskabte søer, der fungerer som sidste led i rensning af spildevand.

Today we day camped at Santee Lakes, a group of seven manmade lakes, which serve as the last link in the long process of waste water filtration.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

Santee Lakes is an excellent spot for day camping. Day use parking is $2.00 on weekdays, $4.00 on weekends. The park closes at dusk, but there is a campground with full hook-ups for stays of at least two nights.

Playgrounds

Bird watching
Small store with internet cafe

Dogs allowed (on leash) around lakes 6 and 7.
