Dagens baghave:

Backyard of the Day:

San Diego River, Mission Valley, San Diego County, California

We accessed the San Diego River where it joins Mission Center Road in Mission Valley, San Diego County, California

Det meste af dagen gik med kirkegårdsarbejde, men vi fik da tid til en lille gåtur langs San Diego River omkring solnedgang.

Most of day was spent doing cemetery work, but we managed to squeeze in a little walk along the San Diego River at sunset.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

It's near impossible to daycamp near the river in Mission Valley. The area is covered with strip malls and shopping centers and the protect their parking fiercely, because the stadium is so close by. The best place to park is the Mission Valley trolley station, then walk to the river. The trolley station is free, parking is plentiful, you can stay all day, and in our experience they don't check if you are going on the trolley or why you are there.

Facilities:

Hiking and nature trails

Dogs must be leashed.
