Vi day camped at Montgomery Waller Community Park, not exceptionally charming as parks go, but with lots of facilities and a fascinating history.     De obligatoriske legepladser ~ The obligatory playgrounds         Montgomery Waller Park ligger, hvor det i august 1883 lykkedes flypioner John Joseph Montgomery (1858 - 1911) at få verdens første styrbare, bemandede, og bevingede fly i luften. Montgomery Waller Park is located, where in August 1883 aviation pioneer John Joseph Montgomery (1858 - 1911) launched the world's first manned and controlled flight in a winged aircraft. An airplane wing now marks the site.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information The Montgomery Waller Community Park is a good spot for day camping. No overnight parking or camping allowed.
