We spent a lovely sunny day under the ancient oak trees in Live Oak County Park in Fallbrook.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Live Oak Park hed i sin tid Reche Grove efter Reche-brødrene, Vital og Anthony, som kom fra Pennsylvania og slog sig ned her med deres familier omkring 1870, og som dermed blev Fallbrooks første hvide indbyggere.

Live Oak Park was once known as Reche Grove after the Reche brothers, Vital and Anthony, who came from Pennsylvania and settled here with their families around 1870, becoming Fallbrook's first white settlers.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

Live Oak County Park is an excellent spot for day camping. Parking costs $2.00 pr. vehicle, and the park is open until 5:30 pm. There are no overnight camping facilities.
