Belle Starr's Silverado Ranch is located at 5189 West Highway 80
about halfway between Bisbee and Douglas in Cochise County, Arizona

We visited Belle Starr's Silverado Ranch, where Belle breeds and trains Appaloosa horses, Arabian horses, and miniature donkeys.

 

 

 

 

Firs-årige Belle Starr passer stadig sin gård og sine heste, på trods af sin alder og medfødt spastisk lammelse.

Eighty-year old Belle Starr still takes care of her ranch and her horses in spite of her age and congenital cerebral palsy.

 

 

Belle Starr's Silverado Ranch hed i 1800-tallet Box Hook Ranch, og nogle oprindelige bygninger står endnu, blandt andet karlekammer bygningen med vandcisternen.

Belle Starr's Silverado Ranch was in the 1800s known as Box Hook Ranch, and some of the original buildings are still standing, among them the bunk house with the water cistern.

She does not charge for camping, but accepts donations.
