May 5, 2007 Dansk tekst til venstre English text on the right Dagens baghave: Backyard of the Day: Grand Caribe Shoreline Park, Coronado, San Diego, California Grand Caribe Shoreline Park AKA Cays Park is located at a cul-de-sac on the Grand Caribe Causeway in Coronado, San Diego County, California   Vi camperede ved Grand Caribe Shoreline Park i Coronado Cays, Coronado, et lille stykke strand, der ligger ret øde hen, i forhold til det rend, der normalt er på Coronado's strande. We day camped at Grand Caribe Shoreline Park in Coronado Cays, Coronado, a small stretch of beach that is deserted compared to the crowds one normally finds at Coronado's beaches.         Midt i parken står skulpturen "Beskyttende Vinger" af Christopher Slatoff. In the middle of the park is the sculpture "Sheltering Wings" by Christopher Slatoff.

Husene i Coronado Cays har allesammen meget praktisk en bådebro i baghaven. The houses in the Coronado Cays each have a handy boat slip in the back yard.

Boondocking Information Grand Caribe Shoreline Park is an excellent spot for day camping. The park hours are 6 am to 10:30 pm, but are not posted. Parking is street parking at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are no posted signs regulating parking, but the park is located in the Coronado Cays, a gated community with no doubt endless paragraphs of C C & Rs, and their friendly security guards and/or the even friendlier Coronado police department will almost certainly come around if you are parked with a camper there after dark, just to assure themselves that you have no intentions of camping overnight. Facilities: Benches Fishing Swimming Dogs are not allowed at this park. Leashed dogs are allowed at the designated dog run in South Cays Park.
