The Red Rock Mountains are located in Coconino County, Arizona,
and encompass Red Rock State Park, Slide Rock State Park in Oak Creek Canyon, essentially the greater area around Sedona.

Slide Rock State Park

 

 

 

Slide Rock State Park er en gammel æbleplantage, som blev drevet af Frank Leslie Pendley. Han kom til Oak Creek Canyon for at fiske i 1910, og blev boende.

Slide Rock State Park is an old apple plantation, which was run by Frank Leslie Pendley. He came to Oak Creek Canyon for a fishing trip in 1910 and stayed.

Camping Information

We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground at 3025 North Highway 89 in Prescott, Arizona.
They charge $27 for an RV camp site with full hook-ups.

Facilities:

Heated bathroom with showers.
Camp store.
Picnic tables.
