Den første spanske søekspedition gik i land her i 1769, efter at være ankommet på skibet San Antonio kommanderet af Gaspar de Portola. Ekspeditionen bestod af soldater, nybyggere og missionærer. Vi daycamped at Spanish Landing Park. The first Spanish sea expedition landed here in 1769, having arrived on the ship San Antonio under the command of Gaspar de Portola. The Expedition consisted of soldiers, settlers, and missionaries.

We moved to the next parking spot over after 4 hours, just to make sure. Day Camping/Boondocking Information Spanish Landing Park is a good spot for day camping. The sign would lead one to believe that overnight camping/parking is allowed. This, however, would be uncharacteristic for San Diego Parks, and I doubt it's what they mean to convey.
