Wupatki National Monument, Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona

Wupatki National Monument is located north of Sunset Crater National Monument on Highway 89 in Coconino County, Arizona.

 

Lige nord for Sunset Crater, hvor dele af landskabet stadig er dækket i aske, ligger Wupatki National Monument, hvor tusindvis af indianere boede indtil circa 1250, og hvor ruinerne af deres bygningsværker står tilbage.

Just north of Sunset Crater, where parts of the landscape is still covered in ashes, lies Wupatki National Monument, where thousands of Indians lived until about 1250, and where the ruins of their buildings still remain today.
