Jamestown Frontier Village and National Buffalo Museum, Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakota

Jamestown Frontier Village and the National Buffalo Museum are located in Jamestown, Stutsman County, North Dakota

We continued eastward on I-94 till we got to Jamestown, whose "old town" is home to the National Buffalo Museum.
April loved Jamestown Frontier Village, which I personally found a little too kitchy - authentic buildings that have been overwhelmed by all sorts of tourist entrapments.

Jamestown has the world's largest buffalo, which was made by Elmer Paul Petersen in 1959.

But the best part is that Jamestown has the world's only albino buffalo, "White Cloud" and her calf "Dakota Miracle."
White buffalo are extremely rare, and the chance of a white buffalo having an albino calf is so unlikely that it can not be calculated. The only other white buffalo in modern memory died in 1959.
Albino buffalo are considered sacred by Indians and symbolize great changes in the world.
