May 27, 2008 Dansk tekst til venstre English text on the right Dagens baghave: Backyard of the Day: Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, Billings County, North Dakota Theodore Roosevelt National Park is divided into three sections, the oldest and most southern of which is located just off Highway 94 in Medora, Billings County, North Dakota.   Vi krydsede ind i North Dakota til morgen, og det varede ikke længe, før vi var i North Dakotas Badlands. We crossed over into North Dakota this morning, and it wasn't long before we were in the North Dakota Badlands. We drove to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which encompasses much of this colorful wilderness of canyons, buttes, and grasslands.       Præsident Theodore Roosevelt havde en stor ranch her, og hans første stuehus står her endnu. One of the first things we found among the buttes was more prairie dog towns, and these prairie dogs were a little better at posing for pictures than the ones yesterday.

Og det allerbedste af det hele... de vilde heste! And my favorite part of it all... the feral horses!
