Det er ikke den mest charmerende af parker, men den har, hvad der skal til, og så gjorde det ikke så meget, når dagen alligevel mest var til møder og skolearbejde. We spent the day in Kearny Mesa Park, where we were meeting various and sundry people from the insurance company. It isn't the most scenic of parks, but it's got what it takes, and then that was okay, since the day was dedicated to meetings and school work anyway.     Frikvarter ~ Recess

Day Camping/Boondocking Information Kearny Mesa Park, while not particularly scenic, can be a good spot for day camping. Parking is restricted to an hour in the mid-mornings only, and the parking lot is large and easily accessible. While we have never personally camped or parked here overnight, people do on occasion, some repeatedly, and there is no overnight parking restrictions posted other than the parking lot is "for park patrons only". Facilities: Playground Restrooms Picnic tables Drinking fountains Barbecue grills and hot coal receptacles Rec center and pool Sports fields Large dog park Free parking.
