Vi camperede ved Færgelejet i Coronado i dag. Inden vi tog med færgen gik vi ned ad gaden til Mariott Coronado Island Resort og så på fuglene, de har ude foran.

We day camped at the Coronado Ferry Landing today. Before we went on the ferry we went down to Marriott Coronado Island Resort to see the birds out front.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

The Coronado Ferry Landing is a good spot for day camping as well as overnight boondocking.
The parking lot at the Ferry Landing is free, but it has very restrictive parking regulations, but there is lots of unmetered street parking. Observe signs in the area restricting parking of oversized/tall vehicles. There are still many places to park a camper, and when we checked with Coronado police, they told us we were allowed to keep the camper parked on the street in Coronado for up to 48 hours.

Facilities:

Shopping
Restrooms
Bicycle rentals
Ferry to Downtown San Diego ($4 each way).
