We cheated the rain today, and went halfway up the mountain over the cloud cover to Pine Valley County Park, where it was the loveliest spring day.         Der var engang et kæmpe træ.... Og ja, vores datter insisterer på at have håndtaske med på hike. Spørg mig ikke hvorfor! Once upon a time there was a giant tree.... And yes, our daughter insists on hiking while carrying a purse. Day Camping/Boondocking Information Pine Valley County Park is an excellent place for day camping. The park is open from 9:30 am till sunset, and is not open for overnight camping. There is a $3.00 per vehicle parking/entry fee. Facilities: Picnic areas Barbecue grills Restrooms Drinking fountains Playgrounds Basketball court Tennis court Ball fields Horse shoe pits Shuffleboard Seasonal stream Leashed dogs welcome.
