Stedet er hjemsted for mange fugle, iblandt dem flere forskellige slags kolibrier. We spent the day in Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary. Day Camping/Boondocking Information The Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is a difficult spot for day camping. The two-mile long road to the sanctuary is narrow and somewhat overgrown with some low hanging branches over the roadway and limited turnaround space. Although in a Lance Camper we were able to negotiate it with some care, we would not recommend driving to the sanctuary in either a large RV or towing a longer trailer. Parking is limited to diagonal spaces alongside an already narrow road, and overnight camping/parking is not permitted.
