Dagens baghave:

Backyard of the Day:

Rainforest Café, Costa Mesa, Orange County, California

The Rainforest Café is part of the South Coast Plaza Shopping Mall, which is located at 3333 Bristol Street in Costa Mesa, Orange County, California

The Spud had requested that her birthday dinner be at the Rainforest Café, and since we don't have one right in our backyard, and since today was a good day for traveling a bit, we had an early start to the festivities.

The Rainforest Café is a restaurant which is lavishly decorated to look like a Disney rainforest complete with waterfall, rain storms, live tropical fish, glimpses of the night sky, and large animatronic animals.

Tropefiskene er nok lidt malplacerede, men utroligt flotte.

The tropical fish may look a little out of place, but they're gorgeous.

Dinner was delicious, and the crowning touch was the "dessert vulcano".

Et træ, der fortæller historier.

A storytelling tree.

There were - of course - toys for sale in impressive quantities... and the Spud very nearly brought home the cutest ever little baby monkey.
