Dagens baghave:

Backyard of the Day:

Several body shops, Mount Hope Cemetery, and

Spanish Landing Park, San Diego, California

Spanish Landing Park is located off North Harbor Drive at the San Diego Bay in San Diego, California

Our main task today was to collect estimates for repairing Owen Bigfoot Henderson and Lance, and in that way the day was fruitful, but uninteresting. Fortunately we had enough time to also work an hour or two at my beloved Mount Hope Cemetery.

Og efter en lang travl dag, ved jeg ikke noget bedre, end at gå en aftentur her langs Spanish Landing, et af vores yndlingssteder.

And after a long busy day I know nothing better than taking a long walk here along Spanish Landing, one of our favorite places.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

Spanish Landing Park is a good spot for day camping.
Parking is losely enforced, and signs here read "4 hour parking 6:00 am to 10:30 pm 7 days a week," which would lead one to believe that overnight camping/parking is allowed, and parking is unrestricted after 10:30 pm. This, however, would be uncharacteristic for San Diego Parks, and I doubt it's what they mean to convey.

Facilities:

Beach
Playground
Restrooms and beach showers
Drinking fountain

Free 4-hour parking.

Leashed dogs welcome, may be on sand after 6 pm.
