Grasslands Loop Trail is part of Mission Trails Regional Park, which is located along Mission Gorge Road in Tierrasanta, San Diego County, California

 

I dag camperede vi i Mission Trails Regional Park og tog på hike langs Grasslands Loop Trail.

Today we camped in Mission Trails Regional Park and hiked along the Grasslands Loop Trail.

 

 

 

 

Vi startede med helt godt vejr, selvom skyerne ikke var langt væk...

We started with nice weather, though the clouds weren't far...

Vidstrakte græsarealer er usædvanlige for San Diego, og det er dejligt at se noget andet end buskads for en gangs skyld.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

Mission Trails Regional Park is an excellent spot for day camping.
Overnight camping is allowed at the campground at Kumeyaay Lake ($14 pr. night, no hook-ups.), but there is no parking in other lots after 5:00 pm.
The campground has a free day-use area that is great for day camping.

Facilities:
Restrooms with cold showers
Hiking trails
Picnic areas
