Søen er egentlig et vandreservoire, så man må ikke svømme, men nu var det heller ikke SÅ varmt, selvom det var flot solskin. We day camped at Dixon Lake in Escondido. Day Camping/Boondocking Information Dixon Lake was an excellent spot for day camping. Gates are open 6 am. to sunset. There is a campground there as well for overnight camping (no pets). Camp sites are $20 a night for a without hook-ups, $25 with hook-ups.
