I dag camperede vi i Old
Ironsides County Park i El Cajon.
været i. |
Today we camped in Old Ironsides
County Park in El Cajon. The park stretches along a small stream and
is shaded by ancient coast live oaks. It is definitely one of the
most idyllic of the small parks we have visited. |

For tusind år siden
vasket ud. |
A thousand years ago an Indian
village existed here. The women collected acorns and ground them into
flour in the holes in this rock, and then leached the flour in the
stream in order to remove the taste of tannin. |
