Backyard of the Day:

Point Reyes National Seashore, Olema, Marin County, California

Point Reyes National Seashore is located west of Olema in Marin County, California.

We got up frightfully early and went out to explore Point Reyes National Seashore, a gorgeous peninsula, which has been separated from the mainland by the San Andreas fault, and continues to move two inches further northwest every year.
Next time we come to visit maybe we can expect to have to put on waders to get over there?

We were lucky to spot a little Bambi with his mom inside a fog bank, and we walked alongside them for a long time without them minding. Can you see the fawn in the left side of the picture?
