Francisco Maria Ruiz gav
Penasquitos Adobe Ranch til en grandnevø, Francisco Maria
Alvarado, i 1837. Alvarado's søn Diego fik gården i
1857, og denne gav ejendommen til sin datter Maria Estéfana
Alvarado, da hun blev gift med Kaptain George Alonzo Johnson i 1859.
Estéfana og George Johnson ejede også en bybeboelse,
nemlig Johnson-huset i Old Town.
De udvidede Penasquitos Adobe
Ranch med adskillige gårdbygninger og med ekstra beboelse i
1862. De mistede gården i 1880 af økonomiske grunde. |
Francisco Maria Ruiz gave the

in 1837. Alvarado's son Diego was given the ranch in 1857, and he in
turn gave the property to his daughter Maria Estéfana
Alvarado, when she married Captain George Alonzo Johnson in 1859.
Estéfana and George Johnson also owned a city residence, the
Johnson House in Old Town.
They expanded the Penasquitos
Adobe Ranch with farm buildings and added more living space in 1862.
They lost the ranch in 1880 for economic reasons. |
