Vi camperede på El Carmel Point i Mission Bay i dag. Hvorfor er mine billeder blå-lilla i dag? Hmmmm...??? Spurgte hun, mens hun kløede sig i nakken.

We day camped at El Carmel Point in Mission Bay today. Why are my photos all blue today? Hmmmm...??? She said, scratching her head.

Kan vi bare én gang komme fra stranden, uden at én sæl' ska' ha' en halv klit med hjem i skaller??? Tilsyneladende ikke....

Can we just once leave the beach without Mrs. Dub bringing home half a sand dune's worth of shells? Apparently not....

 

 

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

El Carmel Point in Mission Bay Park is an excellent spot for day camping.
No overnight camping is allowed, the parking lot is closed to from 2 am to 4 am.

Beaches and Swimming
Rowing Club and Yacht Club
Restrooms
Beach showers
Drinking fountain
Free parking

Mission Bay Park has a free Dump Station at De Anza Cove just a few miles from Fiesta Island.

Except for Fiesta Island, all areas of Mission Bay Park allow leashed dogs only between 6 pm and 9 am (4 pm to 9 am in winter)
