October 16, 2008 Dansk tekst til venstre English text on the right Dagens baghave: Backyard of the Day: Discovery Community Park, Chula Vista, San Diego County, California  Discovery Community Park is located at 700 Buena Vista Way in Chula in San Diego County, California.   Vi camperede i Discovery Park i dag. Det er en typisk, lidt fantasiløs park i Chula Vista, men velholdt, og med masser af plads til både at stæse rundt med vilddyret og fla'e u'. Og vejret kunne vi sandelig ikke klage over! We day camped in Discovery Park today. It's a typical run of the mill community park in Chula Vista, but well kept and with lots of room both for running around with the dawg and laying around. And the weather was spectacular!       Her var en velholdt legeplads, med en slags pedal-himstregims, som April var vild med. Jeg vil skyde på, den kommer til at stå på ømme muskler i morgen. There's a well kept playground here with some sort of pedaling thingy that April loved. I'm gonna guess that she might find muscles she didn't know she had later.

Der står passende nok en statue af en eller anden opdagelsesrejsende i Discovery Park. Quite fittingly there is a statue of some explorer, although I don't know if it's a particular one, in Discovery Park.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information Discovery Park is a good spot for day camping. The park is open from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, and parking is plentiful. Facilities: Restrooms Picnic areas Drinking fountains Play ground Sports fields More California Travel Information Here YESTERDAY TOMORROW
