Backyard of the Day:

Dinosaur National Monument, Dinosaur,
Moffat County, Colorado

Dinosaur National Monument is located north of the town of Dinosaur in Moffat County, Colorado, and stretches into Uintah County, Utah, as well.

Dinosaur National Monument was a bit of a disappointment, compared to when Helle and I were here in 1987 (?) - You can no longer go visit the rock wall, where they dig out the dinosaur remnants, and that place was the most exciting part of the visit.
And then we missed driving 6 miles through a cricket plague, yet another distinguished pleasure we had last time we visited....
