Fort Zion Trading Post,
Virgin, Washington County, Utah

The Fort Zion Trading Post AKA the Virgin Trading Post is located along Highway 9 just outside the town limits of Virgin in Washington County, Utah.

We had actually planned to go to Zion National Park today, but the long waits and the 110 degrees outside had us changing our minds pretty quick.
But lucky for us - especially April - there's a most delightful tourist trap located west of the park, the Fort Zion Trading Post.

For eksempel æslet "Sundance".

The little cartoon town also has animals for feeding and petting. Like "Sundance" the donkey.

Today the "real" Virgin, Utah, has just over 500 residents, and there is no appreciable crime, perhaps because it is one of only two towns in the country, where a local ordinance dictates that each home must have a gun for protection.

There's lots to look at inside as well, and we cooled off with some of Dee Anderson's homemade cactus ice cream.
