Day Camping/Boondocking Information Sunset Point in Mission Bay Park is a good spot for day camping. No overnight camping/parking is allowed. Facilities: Restrooms Hot Coal Receptacles Free parking Mission Bay Park has a free Dump Station at De Anza Cove just a few miles from Sunset Point. Except for Fiesta Island, all areas of Mission Bay Park allow leashed dogs only between 6 pm and 9 am (4 pm to 9 am in winter).
