San Juan Bautista State Historic Park is located at the San Juan Bautista Plaza in San Juan Bautista, Santa Clara County, California

Just next to the mission is San Juan Bautista State Historic Park, a small "old town" section.

 

 

 

Plaza Hotel var oprindelig kaserne for de soldater, der beskyttede missionen, men i 1856 blev bygningen købt af den italienske immigrant Angelo Zanetta, som byggede overetagen til og åbnede hotel.

The Plaza Hotel originally served as housing for the soldiers that protected the mission, but in 1856 the building was bought by Italian immigrant Angelo Zanetta, who added the second story and opened the hotel.

Camping/Boondocking Information

Sunset State Beach is a good spot for camping.
Camp sites are $25 a night during the summer season, without hook-ups. The camp sites are within walking distance of the beach, but do not have a view of the water.
