And then we got to Bryce Canyon National Park, a large valley full of Hoodoos, stone pillars that were formed by erosion from water, ice, and wind. The cliffs are first eroded into long, thin fins, and then the fins are eroded into spires.

Bryce Canyon was named after Ebenezer and Mary Bryce who around 1875 were the first settlers in this place. When he was asked about his unusual back yard, Ebenezer would say, "Yeah, it's a helluva place to lose a cow."

This bridge is actually more like arch, formed of ice and seep water, not a river.
