The Batiquitos Lagoon is most easily accessed from the end of
Gabbiano Lane in Carlsbad, San Diego County, California.

We day camped at the Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad.
The lagoon is home to many species of birds, especially many kinds of terns.

Boondocking Information

The Batiquitos Lagoon is a fair spot for day camping.
Most of the parking is street parking at the end of a cul-de-sac, so overnight camping may be realistic.

Facilities:
Small nature center with a restroom
Street parking and a tiny parking lot.
