Dagens baghave:

Backyard of the Day:

Limekiln State Park, Limekiln, Monterey County, California

Limekiln State Park is located just south of Lucia in Monterey County, California

We woke up this morning on the beach at Limekiln, after falling asleep last night to the sound of the surf.

Her løber Limekiln Creek ud i Stillehavet ~
Here Limekiln Creek runs into the Pacific Ocean.

Vi deler campingplads med ham her ~
Vi share a camp site with this guy.

From the beach we went for a walk along Limekiln Creek, and it was only a few minutes till the forest.

Her er mest sequoia træer ~ The trees are mostly sequoias.

And then we got to the place that gave Limekiln its name: Here in the woods are four giant ovens of steel and rock, which were in the 1880 used to extract lime from surrounding rock.

Tilbage ved stranden ~ Back at the beach
