We camped at Quivera Point, which like nearby Hospitality Point is a less visited (read: more peaceful) part of Mission Bay Park.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

Quivera Point in Mission Bay Park is an excellent spot for day camping.
No overnight camping allowed, parking lot closes 2 am. to 4 am.

Facilities:
Picnic Areas
Bird Watching and Fishing
Boat Launching
Free parking

Mission Bay Park has a free Dump Station at De Anza Cove just a few miles from Quivera Point.

Except for Fiesta Island, all areas of Mission Bay Park allow leashed dogs only between 6 pm and 9 am (4 pm to 9 am in winter).
