We day camped at the La Jolla Village Square mall across from the San Diego Mormon Temple and watched the Blue Angels practice their stunts for the air show tomorrow. There is no access to the interior of the temple for anybody but Latterday Saints. The temple was built in 1993.

As for night camping, it is important to check with management, but malls with Walmart stores or where one or more stores are open 24 hours, you can usually expect to stay without being bothered, as long as you keep out of the way and otherwise keep a low profile and do not become a nuisance.
