Today we day camped along a La Mesa street, went down into the village to eat breakfast, and then went off to explore the old La Mesa train station.         Santa Fe og Southern Pacific Jernbanerne kom til La Mesa i 1888, og stationen, som dengang hed Allison Station, er bygget i 1894.
