The La Mesa Train Depot is located on
Spring Street in La Mesa, San Diego County, California

Today we day camped along a La Mesa street, went down into the village to eat breakfast, and then went off to explore the old La Mesa train station.

The building was sold and moved in 1954 and was, for some time, an antique store. It was "rediscovered" in the 1970s, and between 1980 and 1981 it was moved back to La Mesa. It is the oldest building in California to stand in its original form.
