Backyard of the Day:

Mount San Jacinto State Park, Idyllwild, Riverside County, California

This part of Mount San Jacinto State Park is located off Highway 243 in Idyllwild, Riverside County, California.

We came to Idyllwild last night and woke up this morning to snow patches and sun.

There are traces of early Indian civilization in several places in the park.

We spent the day hiking and playing, and later with dinner and karaoke in the village.
