We day camped in Hillside Park in El Cajon today, where we home schooled and took walks, and where the eucalyptus and fir trees gave just enough shade to keep us from melting in the ninetysomething temperature.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information Hillside Park is a good spot for day camping. Overnight camping is not allowed, and the park is closed between 10:30 pm and 7:00 am.
