Felicita Park har navn efter indianerprinsessen Hal-Ah-Wee "Felicita" La Chappa Morales, som døde i Oktober 1911, angiveligt i en alder af over hundrede år gammel. Hun var gift med "Boley" Morales og datter af Panto La Chappa, missionsindianernes San Pasqual-stammes sidste arvemæssige høvding.

Felicita Park is named after the Indian princess Hal-Ah-Wee "Felicita" La Chappa Morales, who died in October of 1911, believed to be more than a hundred years old. She was the wife of "Boley" Morales and daughter of Panto La Chappa, the last hereditary chief of the San Pasqual band of Kumeyaay Indians.

Day Camping/Boondocking Information

Felicita County Park is an excellent place for day camping.
The park opens at 9:30 am and closes at sunset, and there is a $3.00 entry fee.
