Christian Geisler
(Half-brother to August Wilhelm Geisler,
son of Carl Heinrich Wilhelm Geisler Sr.)

Ca. 1905

Christian Geisler disappeared while serving in World War I, and was never heard from again. Years later, in the late 1940's, this picture, hanging in the home of his half-brother August Wilhelm Geisler, fell off the wall during the night for no apparent reason. August's wife, Christine, woke up at the sound of the picture falling, and went into the living room to see it laying intact, face down on a couch underneath where it had hung.
She returned to bed, telling August "Christian died. I know."
