DIANNE SMITH PORTIE
Susan
Dianne Smith Portie
"GROVES
- Susan Dianne Smith Portie, 49, of Groves, Texas passed away on
Saturday evening at Doctors Hospital in Groves.
She
was born in El Paso, Texas and lived in the Port Arthur/ Groves area
for most of
her life. She was a homemaker to her loving family. Susan was a
member of First Baptist Church in Groves and a former member of
Central Baptist Church in Port Arthur.
Visitation
will be on Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Clayton
Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M.
Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves
with Dr. Joe Worley, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn
Memorial Park.
She
is survived by her loving husband, Dale Portie of Groves, Texas; her
daughter, Amanda Portie of Groves, Texas; her three sons, Brandon
Portie of Groves, Texas, Aaron Portie of Jupiter, Florida and Jason
Portie of Nederland , Texas ; her father, Thomas M. Smith of
Lumberton, Texas; her brothers, Steve Smith of Jupiter, Florida and
Brian Smith of Vinton, Louisiana; her nieces, Amber & Gillian
Smith; her nephew, Ryan Smith." |
