OBITUARY FOR

ANDERSON - Sarah Helen Ellis, 86, of 1501 E. Greenville St., widow of Harold Thomas Ellis, Sr., died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005 at National HealthCare in Anderson.

Born in Belton, she was a daughter of the late William B. Deanhardt and Annie Moore Deanhardt. She was retired from Orr Lyons Mills with 35 years of service. She was of The Baptist Church of Anderson.

Surviving are sons, Harold Thomas Ellis, Jr., of Texas, William Lee Ellis of Maryland, Joseph R. Ellis of Spartanburg and Donald K. Ellis of Anderson; daughter, Susan E. Ripley of Anderson; brother, M.L. Deanhardt of Belton; sisters, Doris Thompson of Columbia and Edna Fleming of Donalds; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are at 3 p.m. Wednesday at New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson officiated by Dr. James R. Thomason and the Rev. Dale Ellis. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Susan Ripley, 2808 Little Creek Drive, Anderson.
