HUGHES - Of 3811 Dauphine street, Friday, September 15, 1933, at 3:50 o'clock p. m., SAMUEL RANLETT HUGHES, beloved husband of Marie Duzer, father of August B., Edward A., and Thomas C. Hughes, Mrs. Bertha Maples, Mrs. Richard Conner and Mrs. Alice Trigo and the late Samuel P. Hughes and brother of Edward Hughes of Sulphur, La. and the late James E. and Joseph R. Hughes. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, aged 63 years, a native of St. Mary parish, Louisiana, and a resident of this city for the past 54 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also the officers and members of Ninth Ward Citizens' Democratic Association, are invited to attend the funeral Sunday, September 17, 1933, at 3 o'clock p. m. from the mortuary of Jacob Schoen & Son, 527 Elysian Fields avenue. Religious services at St. Cecilia church.
Interment in St. Vincent de Paul cemetery.
