GREENVILLE ONLINE Evelyn Cox Deanhardt Smyrna, Ga. Evelyn Cox Deanhardt, 89, wife of George Deanhardt, of 3596 Lake Drive S.E., Smyrna, Ga., died Thursday, Feb. 17, at A.G. Rhodes Home, Marietta, Ga. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Will and Anna King Cox. She was a member of San Souci Baptist Church in Greenville. She was a housewife. Surviving in addition to her husband are, son, Ronnie Deanhardt of Littleton, N.C.; daughter, Jean Corish of Smyrna, Ga.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Garden of Memories with the Rev. Jack Rich and the Rev. Paul Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer Association or St. Jude’s Hospital. Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. |
