1886 - Marriage Certificate for Marie Louise Duzer and Samuel Randlett Hughes

This is
to Certify, That it appears from the Records of this office, that on this day
to-wit: the Twenty-Third of September in
the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eighty Six and
the One Hundred and Eleventh of
the independence of the United States of America, (Sept. 23,
1886) was registered a marriage, celebrated in the
City of New Orleans, La., by Rev. father J. Dumas on
the 20 day of September 1886
between
Samuel R. Hughes (24
years), a native of Franklin,
St. Mary Parish, La. son
of James E. Hughes and Mary Jones and Miss
Maria Duzer (16 years), a native of France
daughter of Louis Duzer
and Dominge Fontan. The celebration of the marriage was
performed in the presence of the witnesses Paulin Escat Jean
Carrere Geo Meyer. The License was issued on the 23 day
of August 1886 by Hon. Joseph Holt
ex officio recorder of Births, Marriages and Deaths
in the presence of the witnesses Jean Carrere, Joseph Paysse. |
