1908 - Obituaries for Jacob Ebbermann

EBBERMANN - On Monday, Sept. 28, 1908, at 3:30 o'clock p.m., JACOB EBBERMANN, beloved husband of Margaret Reimes, aged 46 years and 9 months, a native of New Orleans.
The relatives, friends and acquaintances of the family, and the officers and members of the Third District Benevolent Association, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, which will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 3 o'clock p.m., from the late residence of the deceased, No. 1034 Mazant Street.
Interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
HALL THIRD DISTRICT BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION, Frenchmen and Rampart - The officers and members of the Burial Committee are hereby notified to meet at this hall Wednesday Sept. 30, at 2:30 p.m., for the purpose of attending the funeral of our deceased brother member, JACOB EBBERMANN, which will take place from his late residence, No. 1034 Mazant Street.

JACOB EBBERMANN

Well-Known Third District Resident Laid to Rest.

Jacob Ebbermann, a well-known resident of the Third Municipal District, where he was prominently connected, being a member of the Third District Benevolent Association and many other bodies, died at his residence, No. 1034 Mazant Street, on Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
Mr. Ebbermann was born in this city forty-six years ago, and was educated in the public schools. After leavning school he took up the blacksmith trade, and for years has been an employe of the Whitney Iron Works.
His funeral, which took place yesterday afternoon, was largely attended, a large delegation of the members of the Third District Benevolent Association, as well as friends of the family, following the cortege to St. Vincent de Paul's Cemetery, where interment was made.
Mr. Ebbermann is survived by a widow and three daughters.
