HURT IN FIGHT WITH HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW

Henry Ebbamann [sic] Taken to Hospital With Fracture of Skull

A fight between two brothers-in-law resulted Sunday in the serious injury of one of them, Henry Ebbamann [sic], 42 years old, 714 Race street, who was taken to Charity hospital with a probable fracture of the skull.
His brother-in-law George Kerwin, 38, of the same address, was booked at the Third Precinct station with assault, beating and wounding.
Police said the men, both of whom were described as intoxicated, engaged in an argument on Canal street between Front and Peters street. Kerwin struck and knocked Ebbamann [sic] to the pavement, they said.
