Virginia In the name of God Amen I Henry Garner of the Parish of Cople and County of Westmoreland being very weak of body but of perfect sense and memory thanks be to god for the same, doth make this my last will and Testament in manner following. Item - I give and bequeath to my loving wife Catharine Garner the lands and plantation where I now live together with all the houses thereon and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging for and during her natural life and after her decease to fall to my son Thomas Garner to him and his heirs begotten forever. Item - I give to my son Henry Garner one shilling. Item - I give my daughter Hanna Allson one ewe to her and her heirs. Item - I give to my son Bradley Garner one shilling. Item - I give my son Thomas Garner one shilling. Item - I give my daughter Elizabeth Garner one feather bed and Furniture two cows and Calves and one spinning wheel to her and her heirs. I also give to my said Daughter one Chest and one Iron Spitt. Item - I give my loving wife Cattron Garner all the remainder of my personal estate during her natural life and after her decease to fall to my daughter Elizabeth Garner to her and her heirs forever. Item - I leave my loving wife Cattron hole and sole Extr. of this my last will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this 4th day of June Anno Domini 1744.
