GREENVILLE ONLINE Geraldine "Gerry" Darby, 78, of 100 Inman Drive, widow of W.H. "Jack" Darby, died Sept. 28, 2002, at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Lebanon Junction, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Matthew Shearer and Ruby Monroe Shearer. Survivors: Daughters, Kay Forrest of Anderson, Sue Moss of Raleigh, N.C., and Diane Evans of Ridgeland; grandchildren, Stephanie Paris, Stephen Moss, Brent Evans and Allan Forrest; great-granddaughter, Leila Paris. Predeceased: Sisters, Margaret Jo Rainey and Jessie Lee Cole. Visitation: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at The McDougald Funeral Home. Graveside service: 3 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. |
