Be it Remembered, That on this day to-wit: the Fourteenth of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Four and the One Hundred and Eighth of the Independence of the United States of America, before me, JOSEPH JONES, M. D., President Board of Health and Ex-Officio Recorder of Births, Deaths and Marriages, in and for the Parish of Orleans, personally appeared George Miller, a native of La residing at no. 249 Royal St who hereby declares that George Reimes (White) a native of Germany aged 53 yrs. departed this life yesterday (13 April 1884) at Corner Dauphine & Mazant Streets in this city. Cause of death Traumatic Tetanus Certificate of Dr. E. J. Milton Deceased was married 21 years in city & a Laborer by occupation Thus done at New Orleans, in the presence of the aforesaid G. Miller as also in that of Messr. B. B. Howard & P. H. Lananze both of this City, witnesses, by me requested so to be, who have hereonto set their hands, together with me, after reading hereof, this day, month and year first above written. [Signed]
