Transcript of Last Will and Testament of
Ezekiel Jenkins II

In the Name of God Amen. I Ezekiel Jenkins of Woodford County being in a very low state of body health at the time but perfectly sane in senses and memory thanks be to almighty God for it, do make and ordain this my last will and Testament in form and manner as follows viz. First, my Will and desire that my body be decently buried as my executors hereafter named shall direct. 2nd My Will and desire that my funeral expenses and me Just debts be first paid and the residue of my estate to be left as followeth. 3rd I give to my Son William Jenkins twelve and a half Cents to my daughter Polly Botts twelve & a half cents to my Daughter Nancy Triplett twelve and a half cents to my daughter Charlotty Wornal twelve and a half Cents to my Daughter Liddy Galey twelve and a half cents to these and ack. of them & theirs Heirs forever. 4th I give to my Son Thomas Jenkins one Feather Bed and furniture with a bay mare [----- ?] by the name Mountain amediattly in his possession after my decease. 5th I lend my wife Sibby Jenkins all the residue of my estate be it in cash furniture stock or any kind goods or chattels as any other property to me belonging to her own use and [----- ?] during her natural life and at her death to go to my Son Thomas Jenkins together with Bed furniture and more above mentioned to him his Heirs forever. 6th My will and desire that my Son Thomas Jenkins live with his mother do for and take the best care of her during her life. 7th and lastly I constitute and appoint my son Thomas Jenkins Executor of this my last Will and Testament Revolking disannulling and making void all other Will and Wills heretofore by me made as Witness my hand and Seal this 22nd day of January in the year of Our Lord 1815.
