I,
Alice Barber Jenkins, being of sound mind, and considering the
uncertainty of my earthly existence, do make and declare this my last
will and testament:
I
give, devise, and bequeath my house and lot to my husband, W. H.
Jenkins, and my children, to be divided equally between them at such
time as the property is sold. This is done with the stipulation that
the property remain in my husband's possession during his lifetime,
or until such time as it is agreeable to all concerned for the
property to be sold.
Also,
I hereby bequeath to my husband all my personal property, with the
following exceptions: To my granddaughter, Jacqueling, I give the
cedar chest formerly belonging to her mother; to my granddaughter,
Gloria, I give the bedroom suite formerly used by her mother; and to
my grandson, Woodie, I give the bedroom suite used by him. I appoint
my husband W. H. Jenkins executor of this will.
